The January date is for the DVD set. Presumably Best Buy's site has "blu-ray" listed in error.

I've got 2 episodes left of Season 1 and am really hooked. For me it's more about being able to connect to the characters of the show and wanting to continue with them on their journey. Really enjoying it so far. Looking forward to Season 2. I even got used to the opening theme which initially turned me off. I went from hating it and skipping past it, to mockingly singing along with it from time to time, to genuinely liking it now. It felt so terribly out of place for a Star Trek show, but now fits perfectly for some strange reason. Also, I'm watching this projected at 120" diagonal and am more than satisfied with the quality of the presentation. I haven't found the video quality underwhelming at all as some have described it to be.

I can't imagine thinking it looks great at 120" but hey, glad you're happy. If you like season one you're going to love three and four.

Yes, especially looking forward to the later seasons. I hear the show really found its legs. Too bad there wasn't a fifth season and beyond.

It definitely required AT LEAST 1 more season.

One thing that annoyed me a bit with this series though is that the Vulcans never felt like Vulcans to me. I think it's because they used SO MANY contractions when speaking English. I don't recall them ever really doing it that often in the other series.

Well story and personality wise they were quite a bit different, which was intentional. They wanted to show how the Vulcans became the Vulcans of TOS, like an origin story. Fans were very impatient and upset they were not all like Spock immediately though, which is one of the many aspects of Enterprise I think is misunderstood and unfairly maligned. I never noticed them really speaking differently though.

I don't really care how T'Pol speaks. As long as she continues having to spend time in the decon chamber after returning from an away mission.

It took me the better part of 2 seasons before I could really pinpoint that detail myself. So, it was a subtle, yet noticeable, trace factor that led to my slight annoyance. It wasn't enough to throw me off of the show though.

That's sexist.

You actually get a full-on butt shot later on, which I remember being really surprised by at the time.

Oh man, I just realized the anal bros who keep moving Enterprise seasons 1 and 2 to the 'E' section of collections are going to really struggle to know what to do with this single entry complete season box. Half of it is "Enterprise," half is "Star Trek: Enterprise." OH NOES!!!

Oh my.

Taken out of content. :-P

I don't use the collection feature here. In DVD Profiler anyway you'll find this and every other Star Trek television show proudly grouped between the letters R and T.

I paid $180 for the set a couple years ago.

No sad face here. Don't care how little it's being sold for now. No regrets. Have zero problem paying $45 a season for a TV show on Blu-ray.

Me either. Payed retail the day they came out. No regrets at all.

Same here. Just wish more of us had done this. We'd probably be up to the fourth or fifth season of DS9 on Blu-Ray by now.
