I remember an episode of Siskel and Ebert, that was called "Buried Treasures." The critics were pumping little-known films that they admired. Two of Ebert's choices for that episode were PRIVATE PARTS (1972, Paul Bartel) and INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS.

As others have said, the Shout four-pack restored the missing Beverly Powers footage from BEE GIRLS.

I remember him plugging it in his Infra-Man review. Now that I look it up, I see he bothered to make a tweet about it in 2010! Obviously it's something that he didn't forget, despite the lukewarm original review.

Can really recommend Contamination AKA The Crawlers AKA Troll 3 if you're into scruffy low budget horror B-movies that are so bad they're good. The other lot, have no idea...

So glad that Scream Factory continues to pump out these barely known titles...

Default We have an autographed screen grab from "I Bury the Living"

Dial up warning!

From our 2004 Twilight Zone Con page: http://www.steveandmarta.com/tzcon2004.htm

We also have a 2002 TZCon page: http://www.steveandmarta.com/graveyards/tzcon2002.htm

Theodore Bikel was off to the side, and I'd been dying to meet him. I had a shot from "I Bury the Living" that he laughed over, and said that he was only 30 when he made the film, but they made him up to be a 60 year old and he spent most of his time in the makeup chair on it. Steve had a shot from his "Combat!" episode, "Mountain Men," and he also signed the Combat! Recon T-shirt. Peter Mark Richman cornered us, and we promised to be back in a bit.

I picked up Contamination .7 on Tuesday. It's a new scan from the IP, and looks fantastic, much better than this film has any right to look. Grain resolves well and I didn't notice any compression artifacts. The only extra is the trailer. It has reversible artwork that has "The Crawlers" as the title to match the US VHS from back in the day.

Blind buy and I don't regret it. Like others have said, fun B movie with pretty great PQ. I consider myself a hardcore horror movie fan but I completely missed this one. Had never heard of it till the pre-sell was announced. Not sure why it's considered "Troll 3", though. Nothing really related, is it? And Troll i couldn't sit through the whole thing.

Since Shout! obviously did this scan, do you know if it opened up with a Triumph releasing card that was possibly on the original elements?

Unfortunately not, it opens with the MGM logo then goes straight to the film. I had the VHS of this from when I was a kid but I can't seem to find it now to see if that had the Triumph logo before the film.

I just watched the DVD of "The Vagrant" the other night (from the Scream Factory set) I have to say, i had never seen this before at all when it came out, but i had a blast with this flick!

Bill Paxton & Marshall Bell are fantastic in this!!

I will be picking up the Blu-Ray of this!

The Screaming Skull is a pretty great eerie little film. I've always enjoyed watching it.

The Vampire was a pleasant surprise. It’s tone was very different from many other horror films I’ve seen from the 50’s. If Joe Dante was around then The Vampire is the sort of film he would’ve made. It reminded my of his style for some reason.

The movie was really fast paced and it had a great score. It's one I can watch over and over again. The video and sound on this Blu-ray are great. The one thing I remembered about this movie from when I was a kid is when the transformed doctor
[Show spoiler]shoves his buddy into that furnace.
That was pretty shocking to see back then. It stuck with me forever.

The thing about seeing something like this all these years later is, as an adult, you understand it more. Back then, all I was interested in seeing was a monster. Now, I find out this movie had an interesting story and good dialogue.

Is this worth a blind buy? Heard it's complete trash.
