It's a WalMart exclusive edition because it comes with a disclaimer at the beginning explaining what books are.

I think this is the 4th WM exclusive from Universal this year. Last year Universal gave BB 3 exclusives, so maybe they're just shopping these around to different retailers. No doubt it'll get a wide release down the line. It took about 4 months for the BB exclusives to get a wide release.

Brewster's Millions

Looks like the German Koch Media disc got a pretty bad review here a few years back for PQ. I'm not going to get my hopes up too high on this one (like it may have a newer transfer or something).

Thanks to whoever merged this with the original thread.

I'm hoping Universal makes their release look at least as good as their online trailer. The color in that looks great -- a substantial improvement over the anemic-looking Euro releases thus far.

And hopefully they'll port over the extras from their second US DVD release and throw in some additional extras such as production photos and sketches, Truffaut's production diary that was published in the English language Cahiers du Cinema, a commentary track or two, and Bernard Herrmann's score in 5.1 DTS. Yeah. Right. At this bargain price ain't gonna happen. But I can dream!

The film was initially release in magnificent mono but I'm hoping Universal manages stereo tracks.

I just want the film to look great and sound clear.

Good. Interested in all three but more interested in Fahrenheit 451 and The Hindenberg over Brewster's Millions. Hopefully there won't be more exclusives of titles I'm interested in or of more frequency.
