I do hope these offer better transfers of the sequels (the ones not yet on BD) than what's been on DVD for years. I have to assume these are just short of 4K restorations from the original camera negatives. Most likely digital cleanups from the best possible sources. I'll expect something on the level of what we got with Were-Wolf of London and She-Wolf of London, but hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm also surprised this is coming out in May.

Where did you find this list?
That's how they're listed on Uni press site. But, it's a mistake, obviously.

The Mummy's Ghost is definitely included. See here: https://www.uphe.com/movies/the-mumm...ummys-tomb-the

I wonder if it was just left off the press release accidentally. I don't see the need for Universal to press an entirely new disc.

Oh wow! I saw the Mummy set coming (bet these sets are going to have movie cash for new Tom Cruise Mummy movie), but I figured they'd pair it with one of the more B-list monster sets and release Dracula closer to October. This means the next string of releases is going to be Invisible Man and Creature. Now, I loves me some Invisible Man, but I doubt those sets are going to be as popular given that those characters are simply less popular. Whatever though, as long as they're released I'll be happy.

I didnt notice the Spanish Dracula either, must be Donald Trump's work

Hoping for Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Invisible Man sets..

Once all the sets out, Universal will probably release them over and over again, including a box set containing them all.

Oh I'm sure they'll be new restorations. I've had The Mummy DVD set for a few years, & thought the transfers looked pretty good. The May release is a surprise, but a very pleasant one.

never expected to see these sets so soon! I guess I'll have more copies of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein than any other film in my collection!

Back in the day, I remember searching out all of the Mummy sequels on the original DVD double features. And I found them, and bought them...at $42.00 PER DISC!

Anyway, this is the most exciting BD news in a year for me.

And, as otthers have mentioned, I will now have enough copies of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein to tile the walls of my rec room.

Hopefully these drop in price quickly like the previous sets (although the Wolf Man set was a BB price mistake).

Well, that didn't take long.

The thread is 5 hours old and we're looking for a price drop.

There's also surely going to be an Abbott and Costello box one day that includes it.

Then, Universal can collect all the A&C discs from the different box sets, put them in a single box, and release it as the Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein mega box set!

Oh boy! Sign me the heck up!

Bought the previous two sets immediately, and as a huge Mummy fan (and also love Dracula's Daughter), I'll be getting these immediately!

I would be surprised if the Spanish Dracula isn't included in the Dracula set. After all, aren't they just recycling the existing Dracula disc for the set?

I have a question for anyone who has the existing Dracula disc. Does the Spanish Dracula have proper English subtitles or just HoH subtitles like the dvd Legacy set?

For me, that Spanish version is more of a curiosity than anything else. Many film lovers prefer the Spanish version of Dracula because of the slight improvements in camera angles (which were sometimes altered using the dailies from Tod Browning's Dracula as templates) and because of the slightly-amped sex appeal of the women, but, for me, Bela Lugosi seals the deal when it comes to the English language version being the superior one.

It's still strange to see it omitted from a Dracula collection, though.
Since it's pretty much a given that Universal is reusing the original Dracula disc for this release, I think it's safe to say the Spanish film will be included. They probably just forgot to list it.

The chance that all of these Legacy Collection Blu-ray sets will eventually be combined into one large box set at a discounted price is roughly 100%.

I like having them separately, though.

First thing I noticed was the missing Spanish version of DRACULA, but as others have said, it's probably just a listing error and it will be included.

I'm sure the Invisible Man and Creature are on the way eventually, and I'll have to pick up the standalone Phantom. I sure hope they start some of their horror classic sets afterwards: The Black Cat, The Raven, etc.

Oh GOODIE, two more copies of 'Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein' to add to my collection.

For MY Dracula collection, I can only handle Bella Lagosi as Dracula. Any other is simply a wanna be.
