Day 1 for me; loved this movie. I'll just swap out the DVD in my Mondo steelbook for the UHD disc.

Okay this is almost certainly a must buy. Does anyone know what this was finished in? I'm not entirely apposed to it being lower then 4K but I'm trying to limit the amount of movies I rebuy. That being said.... Dredd is one of the best action movies in the last 10 years and the thought of the drug sequences with quality HDR is pretty enticing.

Whether it's 4K or not (doubt it), having a presentation which is graded specifically for UHD rather than the ghastly appearance of watching the 3D disc in 2D (far too bright, far too much noise) will be a game-changer for how this movie looks in 2D. There will still be some shots that look like absolute ass because that's how they were captured but damn, this has the potential to be a HUGE upgrade nonetheless.

Good point. If the original BD was used, then it should include 3D. Possibly making this Lionsgate 4K+3D combo.

Too bad, it's not Dolby Vision.

Definitely getting this (a welcome surprise that this is getting a UHD release). Probably not a day one purchase for me, but I really enjoyed this movie so will get it eventually.

This better look exactly like the french 2D disc, if it looks like one half of the overbright 3D disc, it's a no sale.
