I'd love to see Paramount standing alone. Serves them right. If Paramount does switch it will be some time before I buy a title from them...
Unless... They offer every BD owner of Paramount movies a free Transformers disc. That would make up for it. |

I say Universal, possibly within the next month, no point hanging about, they want a piece of the pie also.

I bet Universal announces in Q1 (if not this coming week). Paramount may be screwed, and frankly, I hope they are. Let the shareholders of Viacom ask them why they took a petty bribe to miss out on the future of HDM.

definily universal. I think they are waiting for the WB to go first. I expect them to go either blu or nutral very soon.

With Speilberg being pro-Blu, do we start to see Dreamworks BDs coming sooner? I would LOVE Private Ryan, American Beauty, Minority Report, and Shrek 1 on BD! Also, Lucas was waiting for the war to be decided....bring on Star Wars! I'll be a sucker and drop another $60 on Episodes 4-6(although it'll probably be more).

Right now, at this very moment, you know that Uni and Paramount people have got to be sweating it being stuck with HD-DVD right now...
I just can't see either of them sitting there on the steadily sinking Titanic. You wonder if there's any talking going on at CES behind the scenes even?... |
