Warner Bros went blu exclusive, so I'd say it doesn't matter who goes next. It's over.

I think Universal because I believe there is a clause in Paramounts contract that they are exclusive for 18 mos , unless they are the only one left.

Universal first because of contracts but everyone else close behind.

I'd love to see Paramount standing alone. Serves them right. If Paramount does switch it will be some time before I buy a title from them...

Unless...

They offer every BD owner of Paramount movies a free Transformers disc. That would make up for it.

I say Universal, possibly within the next month, no point hanging about, they want a piece of the pie also.

I bet Universal announces in Q1 (if not this coming week). Paramount may be screwed, and frankly, I hope they are. Let the shareholders of Viacom ask them why they took a petty bribe to miss out on the future of HDM.

Universal is guaranteed to go neutral within the next 6 months. The real question is when they go BD exclusive. 15 months? I don't want HD DVD ports.

definily universal. I think they are waiting for the WB to go first. I expect them to go either blu or nutral very soon.

With Speilberg being pro-Blu, do we start to see Dreamworks BDs coming sooner? I would LOVE Private Ryan, American Beauty, Minority Report, and Shrek 1 on BD! Also, Lucas was waiting for the war to be decided....bring on Star Wars! I'll be a sucker and drop another $60 on Episodes 4-6(although it'll probably be more).

I think Uni will move VERY soon. And I'm pretty positive one of the "outs" in Paramount's contract is being the only studio left standing on the HD DVD side of things. As soon as Universal goes... it's over.

Sure, Universal will be next, but will they know it's GAME OVER for the red camp and go Blu Exclusive instead?

Right now, at this very moment, you know that Uni and Paramount people have got to be sweating it being stuck with HD-DVD right now...

I just can't see either of them sitting there on the steadily sinking Titanic.

You wonder if there's any talking going on at CES behind the scenes even?...
