Default Should the BDA extend the olive branch to HD DVD at CES?

What do you guys think? do you think the bda when it goes to gives its conference should basically say, it was a good game, its over, lets do what is best for the consumer and agree on one format, blu-ray. don't look like a fool and die a slow death as retailers and consumers suffocate your format. just say, hey, we decided that one format was best and here it is folks.

its kind of like the whole thing when somebody gets fired, the company will let them "resign" instead to save face,

if you do think the bda does this, what do you think HD DVD's reactin will be.
