Visiting Japan this week and picked this up because I missed out on pre-ordering from Amazon.jp. Thank god I missed it though, because I got it for 10,000 yen versus ~11,000 yen (pre-order) because of the tax exemption and extra foreign passport discounts. The packaging is definitely hefty and pretty thick (~1.5 inches).

Has anyone received their US copy yet with English audio? I don't understand why a steelbook isn't being released by a US retailer?

So is Amazon getting this? Most of the Gkids films are no longer available and this doesn't have the first day of release option.

They both do, but according to Target's website, the stores near me only have 3 in most and 4 in a couple. Walmart also has them in store but if you believe brickseek, they only have 3 per store. My local WM has 0, so I did store pickup for a store near where my aunt works so I'll just have her pick it up if she can, if not I'll just have to get there myself since WM doesn't even have it for shipping now. Universal must have severely underestimated the demand.

Target also dropped the ball by not including the Blu-ray set as part of its 20% off promotion. The DVD is included (Making it about $12.40) but the Blu-ray is not and sits at $23 (forcing a price match).

My copy will arrive today from the Amazon pre-order I placed ages ago. I've been looking forward to watching this for a long time.

My Best Buy had 4 copies in the new release section today. The slipcover has good colors and an embossed title.

Looks like the WM I did store pickup for sold them before they went to get them to put back... Wasn't available for shipping so I did store pickup and said 2 left when I ordered, now it's been delayed 3-5 days. Just going to cancel it and order from another store, hopefully they put it back in time. -_-

Looks like some people are saying that the digital version only allows steaming of the english dub at least on Fandango and Vudu. Can anyone confirm this? iTunes says it includes both Japanese and English at least according to the info page.

Edit: Actually even the iTunes description isn't clear, the description says Japanese is included but the Languages info says it's not.

I just got this today. The slipcover isn't quite mint condition but it's close enough.
At first, I went to BestBuy but they didn't have it, so I bought one of the three copies that were at Walmart instead.

iTunes has the Japanese version as an extra, and Vudu is English only.

Is there a way to redeem the digital code on iTunes?
I'm in Canada, we don't have MA here, and it only wants to redeem as UV.
Even though, Universal titles usually to let you have both a UV and iTunes copy.
