Let me just say, for all those that complain about Oceans 8, Ghostbusters etc, for stereotypical reasons, you need to complain about this just as much to at least maintain consistency.

This one makes sense, though. It's like a companion piece / loose sequel to the original, similar to the Ashton Kutcher remake of Look Who's Coming To Dinner. There's a clear distinction to be made in cases where the idea fits and seems natural.
