Even on Talking Dead (after S8Ep12) on an on-set interview, Andrew Lincoln, talking about a scene he has with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, he states that Negan replies to something that Rick says with “What the f*ck is wrong with you Rick”, although the F-bomb was discreetly censored with the audio dropping out.

That’s what AMC needs to do. They did this with Breaking Bad (audio drop out when an F-bomb is uttered).
They even did it with TWD S5Ep6 (Daryl says “F*ck the way it was” on BD, but on broadcast we here “Audio drop... the way it was”.

I am sick of the writers trying to sound tough and use shit, dick, ass, balls etc. and the F-bomb is thus conspicuous by its abscense.
Fear the Walking Dead S3 broadcast 2 F-bombs at the back end of the season. Let’s hope that in the last four eps of S8 we get the same OR we get several edits to broadcast eps, where an F-bomb take is added.

As a loyal fan, I would love to see that. And I’m sure many other fans would love to see this too. Especially, perhaps, an F-bomb in Negan’s reaction to hearing about

[Show spoiler]Carl’s death.

“Since S3”, as in Season 7, like Season 3 had no F-bombs OR not sure if you were correcting the S3 comment about Fear the Walking Dead, which might have been misinterpreted with the parent show.

I for one HATED last season, but am finding THIS season to be MUCH better. I am starting to care for the characters and feel invested in the show once again. Feels good.

Following the patterns of the previous seasons release dates i think it's safe to say Season 8 will release on August 21st.

Thought initially this thread was about season 8 of The Walking Dead, but it has so far been primarily a couple of five year olds throwing pathetic insults back and forth...so nothing new then on this board.

Sorry if I used the word "pathetic" but the above posters were exactly that

Back to the show in question, I seem to fall into the minority who still enjoys this series, but they should definitely release uncensored episodes on blu-ray, seeing as we pay a premium price to have it forever in our collections.

Exactly. I think the lenticular might have the Rick vs negan art and of course the steelbook will most likely be the original all out war art. Possibly, it's hard to tell

Season 6 and 7 cover were pretty bad compared to 8. Hopefully they keep up the good key arts

Cover art looks pretty good, but nothing really special. Why is Anchor Bay's logo still on the spine? Didn't they finally fold into Lionsgate for good?

I noticed that too, mainly because I bought Fear season 3. Either it's a misprint or the official cover hasn't been released yet. I remember last year when season 7 was announced for blu-ray The cover changed when it got closer to August. The negan picture was zoomed in more and the logo filled the top of the photo, I'm guessing it's the same here.

🤣🤣🤣I know right, not bad though. I like how they changed the tone of the key art. It was originally lighter. Only thing I'm afraid of is them changing the details of the slipcover. Since it's being released by a different company they could have the cover all smooth instead of the characters glossed and the title embossed

Season 7 was released under Lionsgate. The slipcover was tight as hell for a viva-elite 5 disc case. The title wasn't as embossed to an extreme like the past six seasons. I believe Negan's image was glossed and the rest was matte.

If anything, I expect the same tight slipcover and I think Daryl, Rick, and Michonne will be glossed, everything else matte smoothing.

Well, it’s over for another broadcast season and at least Season 8 was better than Season 7, but that is not saying much (the show peaked at S4/S5 IMHO).

Will buy the S8 BD and watch it again, before the S9 premiere, as I always do... But I really do hope this time around we get extended episodes and the odd F-bomb take edit or alternate ADR (with a f*ck here and there). It was crystal clear that is what was missing from the S7 BD and what makes it a lot more fun to watch the second time around...

I wouldn't hold my breath for extended episodes as there were lots of 47 to 52 minute or even 1 hour episodes. But as far as swearing goes I think we'll get that "f*ck it" from Rick in 801 and that would probably be it.

Not getting any BDs until the series completes, but there was an episode a few weeks ago where Negan said "What the sh*t" and then "Seriously, what the sh*t" which was extremely cringe worthy. I hope they will fix that at least.

I'm sure that's just a placeholder. The Blu-ray hasn't been officially announced yet.

Greg Nicotero said they shot an F-take of Rick doing the countdown where he says "ten...nine...eight...seven..f*ck it!" and begins shooting.

However, AMC didn't approve of it in time and the F-take didn't make the broadcast.
