To be honest though I do prefer it to the season 7 cover of just Negan. I probably won't bother to buy this season either at the rate it is going.

I've given up on how the cover looks. They ruined their continuity with last season's abysmal cover that doesn't fit at all with the previous seasons. Then there's that stupid season six cover with the big "TWD" letters on the cover. Still love this show though. Will definitely be buying this as soon as it comes out. Great season so far.

Bought season 7 with the hope of having the uncensored Negan dialog scenes like the end of season 6 and that never happened, but I've got every other season so I gotta get this one too. The last episode was solid but still hasn't brought that excitement and tension like the show used to have every week.

I hope that we get uncensored eps with F-bombs the S8 BD release, unlike S7 being the first release since S3 not to have the F-word.

Even on Talking Dead (after S8Ep12) on an on-set interview, Andrew Lincoln, talking about a scene he has with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, he states that Negan replies to something that Rick says with “What the f*ck is wrong with you Rick”, although the F-bomb was discreetly censored with the audio dropping out.

That’s what AMC needs to do. They did this with Breaking Bad (audio drop out when an F-bomb is uttered).
They even did it with TWD S5Ep6 (Daryl says “F*ck the way it was” on BD, but on broadcast we here “Audio drop... the way it was”.

I am sick of the writers trying to sound tough and use shit, dick, ass, balls etc. and the F-bomb is thus conspicuous by its abscense.
Fear the Walking Dead S3 broadcast 2 F-bombs at the back end of the season. Let’s hope that in the last four eps of S8 we get the same OR we get several edits to broadcast eps, where an F-bomb take is added.

As a loyal fan, I would love to see that. And I’m sure many other fans would love to see this too. Especially, perhaps, an F-bomb in Negan’s reaction to hearing about

What are you talking about? There were no uses of 'f*ck' in Season 3 lol.

Only seasons that had it were S4-6.

It is slightly better but every episode is either a total hit or a miss. Out of the episodes we've gotten so far I'd say around half of them are good.

I didn't buy last season and I stopped watching midway through this season.

While I love the comic and used to look forward to the special edition sets every year I can no longer give this show any support as the production values look to me to be about equal to shows I enjoyed in the 90s. If one wants to enjoy this show as a guilty pleasure that is their choice but with the quality of TV shows in this era being what it is I find it amusing that most here find minor production problems like crappy looking posters/covers and missing swear words to be the only thing worth complaining about.

Sorry we all don't have the same tastes as you, guy. While some of us have small problems with the show, we still love it. It's not big enough for us to whine about it like people like you.

Yeah, that response was pretty uncalled for. There is a large amount of complaints regarding the show ever since season 7, this is nothing new.

Glad I’m one of the few that still like this show and Fear! Can’t wait to see the Morgan crossover, and can’t wait to see what gets cooked up for the S8 release. Keep ‘em coming!
