I'm in for the first three as well, but if they release all five in a box set for cheap I'd go for that instead.

I saw one of the two Fords years ago and was bored, just couldn't invest in it. It was probably Patriot Games.

Red October is one of my favorite films of all time, easy buy. Might also get Sum of All Fears when it's cheap.

John McTiernan did Predator (87), followed by Die Hard (88), followed by Hunt for Red October (90). Wow!

Seriously, that is a trio of A+ film that stacks up well against anyone elses consecutive trio. Doing action well is friggin' hard; these are great films that I revisit often.

Red October and Die Hard 4K are day one purchases for me.

My bank manager is not happy with these purchases

First three are classics. Easy decision for me, but not sure on the last two.

I really like all those movies! Hmm, for some reason that director's name doesn't ring a bell...wonder what he's been up to? Let's go check his wikipedia page...

Clear And Present Danger is a great thriller. Too many people think of it as an action piece, but it works best as a character-driven political nail-biter.

Really hope these will be sold separately. I only want that and Red October.

Finally a tie-in that works in our favor! All my 4k buys so far have been movies I didn't get around to owning or upgrades from much older platforms. THIS will be my first upgrade from a BD and soo worth it!

Wow. He did a year in prison and filed chapter 7 bankruptcy.

He hasn't done a movie since 2003. Talk about flushing your career down the toilet.

It's funny. Paramount's a company that was (and still is) so crap at releasing catalogue stuff consistently on blu-ray but they're leading this awesome push of 4K UHD catalogue stuff. Me likey.

Aye, it's like we're in a parallel universe or something. They've seemingly come to the conclusion that if they actually put the effort in to properly remaster something then people will buy it. I mean, what kinda crazy nonsense is that?!? Pfft.

I'm just wondering if this will include both the original sound mix and ... maybe, Dolby Atmos? ... submarine themed movies ALL have impressive sound mixes.

Paramount didn't upgrade the audio on the Tomb Raider movies or Cloverfield, so...probably not?

Yes, I am very glad for all these releases. Just wondering why they cannot bring themselves to release "13 Hours" on 4K?
