If not then maybe a ported copy? I'd hate to have to buy Animatix by itself on bd.

First off thank you guys you’re awesome for replying to this thread I was hoping it would get attached to the trilogy posting in the site and it has! And also I feel yu man I got it in prime day for $16ish with tax but I sold the digital and essentially got it for like $7 so try doing that if anthjng to lower the price. I’ll probably get trilogy eventually when it lowers in price or black Friday in November hopefully it’ll be on sale lol I love matrix but next year is the 20th anniversary and I feel like maybe they’ll put out a 20tth anniversary trilogy set lol

No problem dude! I’m glad it’s helps. I’m thinking of doing the same; I got the first on prime day and sold the digital so total spent was like $7 lol I just wanna see if it goes down in price alittle first hopefully it does,

Mine was essentially free, so I don't feel I will lose any sleep if I buy the trilogy after the fact.

If you didn't open it and still have the receipt, you can return it and get a refund. That's what I would do. Where did you buy it?

Hopefully Done Right.

Studios are still figuring out how to make their movies look good in this new format, so, they write "HDR - Hopefully Done Right" as a warning to customers that the picture might or might not look good.

Well Blu-ray certainly didn't mean "B**** Reliable!"

Amazon. I'm good. I'll just give to a buddy of mine who hates the sequels.

The cover on this is horrible. Neo's face is all smashed and the lines are uneven. #OCD

I agree - but Im still glad I didnt buy the first one separately!

It'll come down or Ill just wait. No rush, Ive seen these movies before. Thats the trouble with high price catalog titles. No one is that hard-up...right?

Well there's someone out there paying those prices or they wouldn't charge them.

Yeah, you're probably right but by now Id like to think those in this hobby are less susceptible to the "gotta have it on release day or Ill die" syndrome. Perhaps not though?

Its a catalog title that I bet most of us have seen numerous times. I know I have.

Still, if I didn't have the first one already on UHD I would be doing what I can to get this trilogy day one! No matter what the price! Hell, I almost bought Back to the Future for $100 when it was first released. And that was just one movie. And it was VHS. Again, the things we do for the movies we want.

Will you pick up an Ultimate Matrix 4K Collection next year for its 20th Anniversary?

If the Animatrix makes its 4K debut in a future boxset, I'll probably bite.

I'd love if this release includes the new transfers on the 1080p discs. I can't upgrade my system to 4k yet, but it would still be nice to be able to enjoy the Matrix without the tint in 1080p.
