Couldn't have said it better myself, such a gut punch at the end, and rightfully so. Really enjoyed the movie though, I'll look into picking this up at some point I'm sure.

I'm going to avoid this thread to keep from being spoiled. Who knows when it'll be in my area and hopefully I can get away to go see it when it eventually comes.

I saw it this morning and was absolutely floored. It was fun when it wanted to be, it was serious when it needed to be, and the ending left me totally shaken. The righteous anger that obviously fueled the creation of this film is totally palpable throughout, and it's easily the most engaging film I've seen all year by far.

Wow Spike Lee is in peak form here had my attention from beginning to end definitely a Day 1 for me. One of the Best films of 2018 so far.

Saw today, it's a shame they fictionalized so much, but it's a great film.
I thought a lot of it ugly looking tho and dem Geoff black levels are really grey

I saw it a few weeks ago and I didn’t think the black levels didn’t look grey, I thought they were quite inky (which is fine in my book). Must of been your theater.
