I called 1 of the stores about 30 miles from where I live, and the rep told me they only have the tin case for The Last Airbender, not steelbook. I wonder if the steelbook will really come out next week.

The only store near me is technically Second Spin...so does anyone know if affiliate and not FYE branded stores will get exclusives? But also, if anyone wants to do a mini GB, 1x for me.

Spin Street in Mohegan Sun casino would receive FYE exclusives because they were an FYE brand/company/whatever. So you should have no problem picking this up at a Second Spin if I had to guess.

Normally I'd love to have a figure but I don't like the baby look and would've liked to have a cheaper option without the figure.

With that image out I really hope that the avatar state art is just the outer cover, and the steelbook as the same art as the acutal blu ray boxset itself:

I'll be happy to get anyways but still in my opinion this is the superior art for the cover.

Didn't the listing online mention the Steelbook? It doesn't mention anything about a steelbook anymore.

I went to Second Spin on Wednesday to ask if they'd get this in stock and they said that they had already received a few Avatar steelbooks and all sold. None came with a figure and they weren't sure how many would come in or if they'd get more..or if they'd come with a figure. So according to 2 employees who knew only 60% about what they were talking about at any given time, the steelbook exists and should be in store on Tuesday.

I'm curious what that means for the pre orders though.

My order states it's a blu-ray steelbook, but when I clicked on the actual products page, it's removed the "steelbook" portion. Did they just run out of steelbooks and it's just the basic BD set replacing the steelbook now?
