I'm so glad this is for the original animated series and not the live-action movie (which I still refuse to watch. lol)

Sounds cool on the one hand but I don’t usually like jumbo steelbook. Wonder if it will have multiple Steelbooks. Otherwise I might pass. Already got the regular set.

Does FYE tend to have different art than the official cover or is it the same in just steelbook form?

Definitely gonna get this, if it's a decent price for the blu-ray and region free/A. I'm hoping for a steelbook rather than a tin like that Korra one. They could always do what Spiderman and Black Sails did and do a 2 pack of regular sized steelbooks rather than a jumbo.

This strikes me as a really weird release for FYE.
Hey I love the series and glad someone is looking at releasing a new copy but um, FYE? They don't have a re-master dept so what are we to expect from them?

It'll just be the disc from the standard release repackaged into a nasty jumbo steelbook I would guess.

Weird it's supposed to be out in 4 days and it's not even listed on fye. there are 2 Blu-ray listings but they're both the same.

No way they'd announce it a year in advance. It could get pushed back a few weeks though.

Just an fyi, and I don't know how true this is, but according to someone on Reddit who called FYE...

"So I just called FYE about the Avatar The Last Airbender steelbook and they told me it is a in-store exclusive and it is first come first serve, no pre order."
