If I may suggest, perhaps it would be easier if formatted like this

Phase One

Phase Two

Phase Three

Upcoming

Unreleased

Thor (2011)

Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)
Ant-Man (2015)

Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Doctor Strange (2016)

No press release yet. It should turn up later.

However...

Captain America: The First Avenger is already listed with the February 26 date on Best Buy, Target and Walmart sites so it’s safe to say that’s the date.

The other two are coming out in April in international territories but no given timeframe for the US yet. Hopefully sooner. My guess would be March.

Any reason they aren't dropping all 3 on the same date? Seems a bit odd to space them out.

I know it's not cool to say anything remotely positive about Thor 2, but that movie, Guardians 1 and Doctor Strange are the ones I'm most looking forward to. There's so much potential for HDR in those movies, they'll be some fantastic transfers if all goes well.

But of course, I'll be buying all the MCU movies at some point.

It's not in my list of favorites, but I do enjoy randomly watching Thor 2. I'm most interested in getting Doctor Strange because I think if done well the visuals will be amazing in 4k HDR.

~~~I'm a little sad that Punisher WarZone isn't involved with the MCU. I do have hopes though that maybe we'll get a Bernthal Punisher movie in the future.
Being as paranoid and OCD as I am I just wish they'd finish the whole thing by first quarter of 2020 -- before the first "phase 4" releases hit the theaters.
Until I have all 22 in hand, I won't feel that they will all make it to UHD.
If all 3 Caps hit before Endgame -- that would be a promising start.
Well, you are.
Seriously, you're not. I love the movie, but in no way do I think it's the best one.
Winter Soldier is the best of the CA movies, IMO, with Civil War a close second.
Thanks for taking time to post! I like seeing the pics (thumbnails), but I really like having the links to the individual pages. I understand the organization (phase 1, ...) but for me I would rather have all the Iron Mans together, Caps, Thors, etc.
Either way, it's great having this resource. Please do with it as you see fit. Thanks again!
First Phase 4 is Spiderman Far From Home (not Homecoming) which comes out this summer.
I assumed there was a rights issue though since Iron Man was released in 4K outside the US and without Disney involved.
The distribution rights for the Iron Man films in Germany were sold off to Concorde. It means Concorde has the right to distribute the Iron Man films in Germany but that's it. They don't have any ownership of the films beyond that. And, depending on the terms of the deal, they might only have a limited exclusivity on the rights before they revert back to Disney (which, now I think about it, might explain the 4K releases).
Ant Man (1 missing) - this is the only one I cannot come up with a decent theory. It should have come out last year with the sequel. Anyone got any theories/info?
Could be the case with Ant-Man as well, they set him up to be a big part of Endgame, so maybe they're using it as a tie in release.
This is Disney, we might not get a press release until the week before. They have went down hill in the promo area the past decade. Too busy trying to take over the world, I guess
$$$. If you think about it, even collectors on here are yes/no-ing releases based on their funds and we collectors don't make up the majority of Marvel 4K consumers. If they drop all 3 at once, people who want all but can't afford spending $100+ at once will wait. Spacing them out almost ensures the best sales day one.
You are right of course. I meant to say before any of the 2020 movies hit theater.
Dr Strange needs to be released with shifting aspect ratio, otherwise I'll be a little upset.
It literally defines who his character is for the moving forward of the MCU as well as why he is so well-loved.
