This is shaping up to be a very bad year for holds and second weekend drops. It has the potential to be one of the worst years, in terms of actual tickets sold, in a long while.

Although Disney is about to unleash the big guns, so we'll see.

link 40% of Boo! audiences were non-black. It's tough to hit $25 million on 2,100 screens without some major crossover.

In the first few installments, it was about 10 to 20%.

Lionsgate never pushes it out to 3,500+ screens, even though they should. Heck, Lionsgate gave Robin Hood 2,800+ screens.
