I feel like I have been investing forever on T2. Had 2 versions on VHS, bought 3 on DVD, and already own it in Blu, and will probably pick up the SuperDuper Ultimate HD-Blu-ray exclusive if and when it ever comes out. I think the next one has to be the last just on principle.

I am in complete agreement! I'm glad I've learned the version that's out NOW isn't the one I want! I've been noticing this alot with blu-ray flicks. You'd think they'd just transfer ALL of the special features (and versions) right on over with the movie. Before I knew anything about picture quality, it was the "extras and director's cuts" that originally won me over from VHS! If they release "Star Wars" with no features I'm gonna be just a tad bit upset!

I have yet to buy a Terminator on Blu because im waiting for the perfect editions. I hope we get them soon.

now this makes happy of holding out on purchasing the current T2 HD release. I just knew it was coming.

I too have been holding out for a better Blu ray version of T2.
I have to have the Directors cut were they take the chip out of his head and the extra bits at the end were the T1000 starts to malfunction.
