Locked in cheapskate Tuesday reservations for this a month ago. GF and I will give the Get Out UHD a first look tomorrow to get our Jordan Peele fix this weekend.

Saw this last night in Dolby! Loved it! One of those movies that begs to be viewed a second time from a different POV. Can't wait to watch this one again on UHD.

It’s a little bit early. It could still get one here.

What an interesting movie. It didn’t blow me away quite like Get Out did, but it was engaging and I think it will reward multiple viewings.

Jealous of those who got to watch it Dolby Cinema. Captain Marvel is still monopolizing my local DC. I bet this looked very good. I could tell I was missing a lot of shadow detail and some nice highlights. Looking forward to the UHD.

This looked fantastic in Dolby Cinema. Not even going to think it’s getting the DV hookup on 4K cause it probably won’t.

My local Dolby is broken. They have just been playing movies out of one projector only. Don't know if I can really tell a difference though.

I've noticed blumhouse produced films don't seem to get DV on UHD Blu Ray for some reason....

Have any of them had DV in theaters? It occurred to me that this might have been another release like Halloween that was only playing in Dolby Cinema to generate more ticket sales, but didn't actually have Dolby Vision or Atmos.

Wait, BlacKkKlansman is a Blumhouse Productions and it has Dolby Vision

There could be some hope here.

Interesting! But, the upcoming release of Glass only includes HDR10.... I wonder who makes these decisions?!?!?

I’m looking forward to listening to the director’s commentary on this one. The commentary on Get Out is excellent and I left Us with more questions than answers. Hopefully the commentary will provide some good insight.

A very good movie, maybe not quite as good as Get Out but I thought this had even more on its mind. My friends and I were talking about it for a couple of hours afterward. Absolutely will buy the UHD, this movie demands repeat viewings.

Every now and then a movie comes out where I say I’m going to go but I never do. If we had a DV Cinema here I would just to compare and see how they stack up against the UHD but sadly the best theatre near me is only 2K. Atmos isn’t enough to get my out.

This was such a great film. I don't think he was trying to make as major a statement with this as with Get Out. But there are layers about identity and what makes a person who they are. Plus that ending is a whole basket full of questions there.

Oh and lessons learned, do not go to Santa Cruz! Between Vampires and doppelgangers, it's not safe.
