This should actually be The 6th Man. The Sixth Man pulls a different disc. |

6th Man should be in 5.1, not just stereo. And you can add Camp Nowhere to the mono list- unbelievable that the older Mill Creek disc had the same problem and Kino made the same mistake- someone seriously needs to be fired. The Emerald Forest was one of the first stereo movies we rented, inexcusable that they messed that up!

If you're looking for a "solution" for MY FATHER THE HERO and BETSY'S WEDDING, you could use Mill Creek's Blu-Rays since they are in stereo.
Was the Mill Creek HOLY MATRIMONY in stereo? I can't remember. Some of the Mill Creek Disney discs are also mono afflicted (like HEARTBREAK HOTEL and CAMP NOWHERE) but not as many as Kino's. |

Cast a Giant Shadow- our of sync audio
On the Beach- out of sync audio- no sync issue on Australia? disc. Neither offered a fix other than Kino’s emails about firmware. There were a few others around that time that had audio sync as well |

Someone posted a possible sync issue with Kino's 4K remaster for For A Few Dollars More recently. Here is the link to the thread. It's on the last page at the bottom. No other confirmations as of yet though.

Since the sync problem exists on all these discs, with different transfers, I'm fairly sure it's inherent in the film. Those exterior scenes most likely had to be redubbed in post when the film was made in 1959, so it's logical the sync might be a tiny bit off. It's true though, there were a few others around that time with wobbly sync. My KL disc of Frankenheimer's THE YOUNG SAVAGES has slightly offset audio sync that is not present on the MGM DVD.
