It's really hard to be excited about any Sony Spider-man movie spinoff since we know the characters are just going to get sidelined in the MCU. ESPECIALLY if the rumors are true that Feige wanted Spiderwoman to himself and Sony said no. Dude is spiteful. Look at the smoking ruin that is Marvel TV.

I can kind of see it. MCU wouldn't want to give focus, dollars, and time to a character they don't control. Spidey himself being the obvious exception.

In what regard? The only character that is being used in the MCU is Spider-man. Why would they need to give focus and dollars to characters that Sony is not sharing with the MCU?

I'm just saying don't expect big MCU pushes for Venom, Morbius, or Spiderwoman. They'll exist in their films and be in the MCU much like the Netflix shows were.

I'm bummed cause I would like to see Jessica Drew pop up in an Avengers movie or team up with Cap Marvel.

Kind of like the FF situation no? Featuring or promoting a character they don't have full control over just doesn't make financial sense.
