World is not enough felt like Bond was in a soap opera. So disappointing after the trailers conveyed an exciting film. Die Another Day is a better film than TWINE as its fun and has good action scenes.

The poll should be declared invalid anyway as there is no such Bond movie as “License” To Kill.

lol! I must admit that's a word I often misspell... especially when you add the British and US spellings!

Licence to Kill is my fave Bond film, so my vote here was a no-brainer.

But allow me a moment to stand up for TWINE. Yes, Denise Richards was a stunt/joke casting that backfired, but so much else is good. Brosnan is solid, the villains are intelligent and motivated by past trauma/obsession, Robbie Coltrane gets more to do, Q's touching farewell, the photography is lovely, the pre-credits sequence is breathless, there's action on snow, underwater... one of the most underrated Bonds.

it saddens me that this film was his swan song....

I don't get all the dislike for The World is Not Enough. It's better than Die Another Day, at least. Why can't a nuclear scientist look like Denise Richards?

If I was picking solely on basis of movie title, TWINE sounds more Bondian than the rather generic Licence to Kill.

But I've enjoyed LTK more often over the years. Carey Lowell looked a little bit like a woman I was involved with at the time (at least, I like to think so). Bless your heart!
