When will the Kubrick collection be released on Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Had to sign up just to ask, because im on the verge of getting the dvd collection but i've searched and supposedly the Blu Ray collection was supposed to be out in October but hasnt come out, so will it come out soon? has anyone heard anything about it? I dont wanna buy the dvd collection then find out its releasing in less then a month or something.

They did not announce a boxset, but they did release several movies on Blu-ray Disc.

The five films are already available on blu-ray...only they're sold separately.

Right now they only places that have a box set are overseas like in Germany. Threr are only singles title releases her in the states for right now.

In the UK the DVD box set I have contains 8 movies; the 5 that have been released on Blu-ray plus Dr Strangelove, Barry Lyndon and Lolita, plus another disc with documentaries about Kubrick. I have the DVD boxset, and would like to replace it with a Blu-ray boxset, I really don't want to just replace 5 of the 8 DVDs with individual Blu-rays as that would make a real mess of my collection.

You can buy dvds from amazon by mailing in a money order you have the option when you check out it just takes a little longer to get them than it would with a credit card

Well, I'm only a couple years old than you. You don't have to have a credit card. I have a debit card that I got when I was seventeen. It works like a credit card but you have to have money in the account. I recomend you to look into that.

The Stanley Kubrick box collection is gorgeous. The covers are great as well:

You can use your American or British Amazon account there. It works the same. They will ship films to the US. The price will also be quite a bit cheaper because you won't get charged the tax.

Most already were but not in boxset form. The one I am really looking for from the boxset that was not released was Dr. Strangelove, which is kind of funny because there have been several Standard DVD releases of it...
