It was funny that the movie mentioned Benedetta since I had watched it the day before.

Painfully average. Nothing we've seen before in the hundred other PG-13 exorcism movies. The cast is attractive though and it's never boring, I'll give it that. Not something I'd want to re-watch or buy on blu-ray.

lol that was the TikTok ad for it. TikTok has AI voices where you can type something and a voice will say it.. so that female voice was that.

I really enjoyed it, far better than 99% of horror these days. Solid directing, really good performances particularly from the lead actress who carries the movie with great aplomb and charisma, and the always memorable colin salmon. The technical packaging is professional with good music and a few, admittedly, predictable scares.

But I liked the story and the angle, which at least for me was new, or can you tell me of many other horror movies where the exorcist is a woman? perhaps there are a couple but it isn't an overdone plot, and its really done in a manner on which it isn't an accessory but a part of the main story.

Think was Ken from midlevel media who recommended this movie, and he was spot on.
