Liam Neeson is at the point where he does movies and just phones it in like Bruce Willis did before he retired. The story here is like any of his movies except his best performance
ever in Schindler's List. That movie showed how great actor he really is . After that he made cookie cutter movies. However I can't blame him. Hollywood throws a boat load of money him. I'd do the same thing.

Yes. Promising Young Woman and Antebellum did. Not sure who’s going to pick the cinema over Sky Cinema if they have access to it however. Odd choice.

Yeah, it does seem like a straight to Disc/streaming title. Hopefully, it does decent money.

I didn't dislike the trailer, and at best, it doesn't look like a very bad straight to video movie. I saw Neeson's film "Memory" and that was a bad straight to video movie. Retribution looks decent in comparison.

This played last night as a Regal Mystery Movie, it is better than Blacklight at least, but very generic overall and goes completely off the rails in the third act. Also a super soft R rated movie, the ad mentions “some language and violence” which already suggests that, and has just 3 F words I think for language and the violence is almost completely bloodless and not really brutal either.

I enjoyed Antal's Armored and thought he pulled it off with Predators. This one says rental to me, though.

I love Neeson and Butler pump 2 or 3 of these movies out each year. Rather watch these action cheesefests than the latest Mission Impossible or Fast & Furious.

Retribution opening this weekend, looks kind of interesting, where he's stuck to the seat and has to make a lot of difficult choices to survive. That could be a very good story if handled right, as the villain tries to make Liam's character do evil things to stay alive.

I think I'll go see this film. Plus isn't this weekend $4 movies and $4 popcorns? I need to find out which day it was.

I was able to find some extra info for Cinemark's website. Good to see they'll honor that day again as with last year, which I think fell on

Sept 2, 2022 or so.

The movie suffers from a terrible script and the director seemed to use really bad takes. I was happy to see Embeth Davidtz but Liam was looking really old and didn't seem to have his heart in the film.
