From Michael Anderson, the maverick director of The Dam Busters, Around the World in 80 Days, The Quiller Memorandum, Logan’s Run and The Martian Chronicles, comes this powerful, action-packed drama about the Irish War of Independence starring screen great James Cagney (The Roaring Twenties, One, Two, Three). In 1921, Kerry O’Shea (Don Murray, Bus Stop), an American medical student living in Ireland, learns that his esteemed professor, Sean Lenihan (Cagney), is also a leader in Ireland’s rebel army. Even though Kerry’s father and roommate have both been killed by British troops, he refuses to join the Irish rebellion. However, after Kerry is unjustly imprisoned and tortured by the British “Black and Tans,” he fully commits himself to the cause of Irish freedom. Based on the 1933 novel by Rearden Conner, Shake Hands with the Devil features fine support from Dana Wynter (Invasion of the Body Snatchers), Glynis Johns (No Highway in the Sky), Michael Redgrave (The Night My Number Came Up), Sybil Thorndike (Stage Fright), Cyril Cusack (The Homecoming) and Richard Harris (Juggernaut) in an early screen role.

The incomparable James Cagney stars with Dennis Morgan, Brenda Marshall and Alan Hale in his first Technicolor feature, once again reunited with Warner Bros.' legendary Michael Curtiz at the helm. Cagney portrays pilot Brian MacLean, a hot-shot Canadian pilot who is just as adept at stealing flying jobs from his competition as he is at stealing their girlfriend's hearts. But when he hears a speech by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill about the looming Nazi threat, MacLean enlists in the Royal Canadian Air Force . . . only to find his superior is a man from whom he stole both a job and a girl--and to encounter action and adventure in aerial combat over the North Atlantic. This was the first Hollywood production to be filmed almost entirely on location in Canada, and was released right after the U.S. entered WWII

Just glancing over the OP, the 1950s section is missing Kino's release of Shake Hands with the Devil (excellent film).

Don't know how I missed that one, it's now added (and the rest of the list has been updated as well).

KLSC is doing a re-release of One, Two Three (1961), releasing on November 12th (it appears to be the same disc, but with a new slipcover and reversible art, including the original U.S. one sheet art with KL's prior cover):

Hollywood great James Cagney (Yankee Doodle Dandy, Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye) gives one of the richest, funniest, most breathlessly paced performances of his career in this comedy that defrosts the Cold War with gales of laughter. C.R. “Mac” MacNamara (Cagney) is a top-ranking soda executive stationed in West Berlin who’s responsible for his boss’ daughter (Pamela Tiffin, The Hallelujah Trail) while he’s away on business. But when he learns that she's gone and married a fierce young communist (Horst Buchholz, The Magnificent Seven) and that his boss will be arriving in town in 24 hours, Mac must transform the unwilling beatnik into a suitable son-in-law or risk losing his chance for advancement! Before you can say "one, two, three," his plans have spun out of control and into an international incident that could infuriate the Russians, the Germans and, worst of all, his own suspicious wife. Legendary director Billy Wilder (Stalag 17, Witness for the Prosecution, The Apartment) directed and co-wrote this hilarious, fast-paced and lighthearted comedy with his twelve-time writing partner I.A.L. Diamond (Irma La Douce, The Fortune Cookie).
