I'll happily buy the best version available on disc. That shouldn't be an unusual attitude on Blu-ray.com.

Naughty Dog and Insomniac remasters/remakes are must-buys for me these days. They didn't have to do it, but there's not a chance it won't be worth the effort.

I wouldn’t mind replaying these 2 games.

I already tried Lost Legacy on PS5. Just a bump in Rez & 60 would be all I require.

I'm fine to re-buy this collection if the visuals are an improvement (not obvious to me, but they didn't do a FF7R like side-by-side). The PS4 Uncharted collection of 1-3 got released, however the visuals and fps were improved. And people are fine to buy an obvious upgrade. I suspect this could be a more Miles Morales like pricing, though.

The other issue is they still look really good to this day. All they really needed to do was release a 60 FPS patch for the two games.

If they released these two at a budget price like they did with the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4, then it wouldn't be too bad. Still, even though I thought The Lost Legacy was the best Uncharted game since 2 (yes, I liked it better than 4), I'll likely pass on this regardless of the initial price. They should have done a full series collection to tempt me to buy it other than maybe when it's really cheap.

You're not alone in that brother! I thought Lost Legacy was fantastic as well. I enjoyed more than 4.

Hoping for a wider amount of single player skins to choose from. I always enjoyed that from the earlier games.

Hopefully this Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy set remaster adds a lot of new bonus content for loyal gamers rebuying it. And offer it at a much lower price since many of the fans already own the game for PS4 which is fully playable on PS5.

And as KilloWertz mentioned, Uncharted 4 already looks amazing. That is one of the all time best looking graphics on my PS4. Incredible artists and technology to be able to pull that off. Fun game too.

I can imagine it'll take things to the next level in 4K 60 fps, there's no doubt about that.
I'm not against anyone willing to pay full price if necessary during the PS5 games drought, to upgrade for that feature. I'm just saying I think the game already looks great and I'll hold off on the upgrade duplicate for now, spending that money on new games.

Exactly. Ubisoft too, with Watch Dogs Legion (60 fps/4K) and AC Valhalla, etc. It was a great thing being able to choose the PS4 version, then install it onto the PS5, and upgrade it when it was ready.

Heck, even CDPR is offering a free upgrade to the PS5 version when it finally arrives in 2077 or whenever they get their stuff together. That's in addition to 60 fps free update for the PS4 game on PS5.

So you are 100% correct in saying it's not unusual to hope for a free 4K/60 fps patch for fans who already own the game for PS4 and want to see it enhanced for PS4 Pro and PS5. That's not entitlement, it's just a hopeful expectation. In this case, they feel their adding enough new content to warrant charging possibly the price of a full game.

The website will soon be upgrading its name from blu-ray .com to UHD .com. Just kidding, but it's true that a lot of movie fans upgrade their library of films to each new format.

For me personally, I rather only upgrade my all time favorite films to blu ray and a couple I tested out with UHD too. Then spend money on brand new content instead.

But for the rest of my library already on blu ray or DVD, the hundreds of films are still fun to watch even if they're not in the absolute ideal format. It would cost me thousands of dollars to upgrade them all anyway.

Have you been able to upgrade all of your library to UHD when possible?

I can imagine some have paid thousands to own a VHS, DVD version, a blu ray version and a UHD version of hundreds of movies in their library. If that's not unusual, there are a lot of users who have a lot of spare money to use up.

Would be amazing if the devs remove the online based trophies from Uncharted 4 and move them over to a separate trophy list. Leaving only the campaign trophies in one location as it should be. That would be a big motivator for the Platinum.

They should still provide the update I think for those of us who don't mind downloading a patch. U4 was architected to support 60 but they went with 30 because of power. So it's probably not a big deal for them to allow 60. But they want people to rebuy.

Will gladly replay these games in 60fps with any new visual benefit. I’d expect / assume we’re looking at a more Miles Morales like pricing point for the release though depending on what the actual visual boost is, which wasn’t that obvious to me from the state of play.

Its going to have to be a hell of a lot more than a resolution/frame bump to get me to double dip on these. Aside from including Miles Morales, Spider-Man Ultimate also included all the DLC, ray tracing, Dualsense support, a new character model for Peter Parker, etc. At the time thats how Sony was justifying the 70.00 price tag.to us.

Vincanws didn't say Miles Morales Ultimate, the standard Miles Morales launched for $50. I personally think that this will launch for $40 or $50.

Gotcha. I stand corrected. I still wouldnt pay 40 or 50.00. I might pay 20.00 for 10.00 upgrade charges for both games but thats it. Otherwise I'll just wait until they go on sale or end up in PS Plus.

The PS3 remakes were just 60 fps + resolution bump so I imagine that's all this will be. But something more will definitely be appreciated. Regardless I would be getting & platting it.
