I think Paramount will definitely go first. Why? Based on Graffeo's recent comments, it's clear Universal's head is still so far up HD DVD's ass. Paramount on the other hand has remained pretty quiet about the entire matter. In addition, I find it odd how their previously released BD's are starting to re-appear.

It just amazes and irks me that both Universal & Paramount can stay exclusive in the face of such dominance weekly by blu. I am shocked Universal is not getting more pressure from GE to at least go neutral.

Paramount could still be first since the first Universal titles aren't coming till July 22nd. Paramount could have stuff out it May or June. Universal was just first to announce.

I really think the deal that Paramount received from Toshiba is what is holding them back. I think they want to announce some stuff and release what they can, but are having an issue. That is the only reason I can see them not saying anything up to this point.

considering what Paramount's name means - chief in importance or impact; supreme... you would think they would have identified with the supreme format from the beginning and stayed there. And we would have never had to have dealt with this issue in the first place.

Question answered... Uni has made announcements already about bringing movies on BDs... the only one left: Paramount, let's wait for news...

I think paramount are trying to get new money from Msoft/pepsi and lucasfilm not to go blu.It sure is a lot less work than making those pesky disc's and shipping them to stores. I think it is easier to get paid for not doing something than doing something. The way paramount thinks is beyond logic They may try to get vhs going again its cheap and if they hook up a internet connection to it the possablities are endless. I gave up on paramount ages ago when they were holding startrek hostage on hddvd.
