Maybe it’s a box set due to Miramax only licensing them out to Shout with the stipulation that they have to be sold together.

Why are there 8 discs then? The PC did come from a 4K scan.

The Cover looks like The Batmans on the case. I mean that's a trendy movie why not...

Recent Shout tomfoolery isn't giving me hope. It could be a bonus disc or something too.

Odd Scream is going this route and not releasing them individually.

I'm buying it of course, it's an odd move. But if they plan to re-release the first 5 in a set, then that'll make up for it.

All these movies (except the Producer's Cut) are in dire need of a new 4k scan so of course I'll buy them again.

For the last time? Maybe?

Off topic somewhat, but I wonder if movies 1-5 will get steelbooks. I bought the SF versions last fall but sold them after watching them (blind buys). Now I’m kinda regretting it and wish I had kept them - probably since it’s getting a little closer to fall ha.

I don’t want to rebuy them, only for steelbooks to release shortly after, which I would rather have.

If they don't do solos, this will make me want to drop the hardboxes for 1-5 and just fit these into the old BD box. Collections don't work too well for a series if they are incomplete. I'd rather they package 4 and 5 with 6 and sell that as a trilogy, even if it means buying them over. Then H20 and Resurrection can be a 2 movie collection or something. If they don't do solos, of course.

There absolutely needs to be single releases.

I know! That has to be some of the worst art I've ever seen. And it's the box. You can't fix that very easily. (Well, I guess you could hide it. )

Of course they do, they lurk around forums like this.
So everyone who ever posted "I'll buy this and that but not Resurrection", you brought this on yourselves!

So, if it's 8-Discs for the three movies but one of them (H6) has two different cuts, does that mean Halloween 6 is four discs all on its own, two BDs and two UHDs to split up the theatrical and producers cuts? Then, the remaining two films - H20 & Resurrection - get one BD and one UHD a piece? The math is sound, and matches what they did with the Friday The 13th box set where the R-rated and Unrated cuts got treated to separate Blu-Ray discs.

The cover art isn't that bad. I mean, it's from the opening scene of H 2 0.

Based on the reaction to the artwork on 1-5 I’m not surprised they aren’t continuing with them.
