The TrueHD track is such a rarity nowadays. I dunno why I was expecting Atmos.

Going the TrueHD route is a very curious decision for the film's audio mix. I'm sure it'll sound fine; it's just, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's too used to Atmos essentially replacing TrueHD these days.

That's an interesting choice for sure. I'm used to seeing DTS being used for 5.1 and 7.1 mixes.

TrueHD is still good though. Just rather random given how Universal goes for Atmos and/or DTS:X tracks on their UHD’s.

I don't know the reason but the movie will be issue in theater in France February the 2nd,we have to wait 4 months minimum for an issue in video so end of June/beginning of July.

I saw this last night and I LOVED it. It is just soooo good. The performances are all top-notch without one wasted role. The film is really personal and if you know anything about Spielberg's life, you will see many familiar scenes. One thing I was thinking right before watching the film was "Even if I don't like the film, there is no denying that i will be witnessing a masterclass in filmmaking." I am very excited for this 4K blu-ray release.

Also, where did they get the name Fabelmans?

Thinking about picking it up. I love a good bio movie, and I have loved most of Spielberg's films.

Thinking about picking it up. I love a good bio movie, and I have loved most of Spielberg's films.

I think the idea of changing everyone's names is so that Spielberg could make it more an "impression" of his youth, instead of an outright autobiography. But according to him, many of the specific episodes are based in fact.

As for the sound, the movie was mixed for 7.1 theatrically, so I'm happy with that for the home release.

I want to order this from Amazon along with something else since I have a giftcard that will cover both items but Amazon still lists July 1 as the release date even though it's 2/14.Other places have the correct release date which is making me hesitate on pre-ordering from Amazon.I don't want to have to wait until July to get this when the other vendors will send it out for the correct release date of next month.
