Preordered! I cannot wait to see this on Blu-ray. My poor DVD is getting worn out.

One of my most desired titles since blu ray was invented. CANNOT WAIT! A little disappointed there's not also a 4k release if it's a 4k master, but I'll take it.

Super excited to finally see this on Blu-Ray and in high def, I remember seeing it on TV as a little kid and thought it was a lost I Love Lucy multi episode movie in colour for years.

DVDs don’t get worn out like VHS tapes do. Unless you weren’t careful and your DVD is scratched up…

It was meant to be an exaggeration of how much I’ve enjoyed the movie over the years. Apologies if you took this wrong!

I see Blu-ray-ray.com lists the running time at 103 minutes which was the preview version with Marjorie Main scenes. The DVD is the general release version 96 minutes. Could it be possible they found the longer version or just a mistake on the site?

As has been typical of late, couldn’t find this at my local indie retailer (used to have Warner releases like Show Boat, etc., available on release day. But Warner Archive distribution may have changed in the meantime to brick and mortar retailers, which I prefer to support unless unavailable like recent releases). So ordered this from Amazon and got it today, one day turnaround. Looking forward to another stellar Warner Archive upgrade. If we want a Forever, Darling release (and I emphatically do), this needs to sell enough to send the message of profitability to the decision making powers that be at Warner.

Sure is. As I mentioned in the site review, this is the first time the film's been released in its OAR on home video.

That’s interesting because I always thought 1.33:1 was the OAR. And what’s funny is that when WB released this on DVD, they released this movie in 1.33:1 and Forever Darling in widescreen. So weird!

Watched this a couple days ago and was blown away by the vibrant colors, the picture clarity and just the classic humor that only Lucy and Desi can deliver, hard to believe this film will be 70 years old this year, talk about a time capsule!

I went ahead and placed an order for this at Amazon, so I look forward to watching this is in glorious HD. From reading the review and this thread, plus the fact that it's in its OAR for the first time, I think this is a solid upgrade that will be worth it. And besides, I just popped in my DVD copy for the first time in so long to check it out and it looks horrendously blurry on my 55" TV. So this one badly needs the upgrade.
