Yeah. There’s an awful lot of fantastic stuff listed, but the old set was utterly packed too and a lot of that I can’t see listed here. Not just the Kickstarter documentary content but some old legacy extras.

Hopefully they’ll be announcing a super deluxe version as an exclusive or something with a 5th disc.

It’s not live yet but if £29.99 is the price I’ll be very happy with that

That would be one crazy pricing error. It looks like there will be a Blu-ray set too, and that one is priced at £59.99 at HMV.

Tangentially related to this, but regardless of all the older extras being there or not, I wonder why Arrow bothered to spend money on several new extras for the first three films with the usual talking head appreciations and analyses. I genuinely wonder how much there is left to say about these three particular films and I think a 4K UHD set with the inclusion of Hellraiser: Bloodline, its workprint and new extras would have been enough. The same for the "200-page hardback book" which also has nothing new from anyone who actually made these films. With the shock demise of Network, I'm getting sensitive to expenditures from these labels and I don't like the idea of any other UK labels blowing cash on stuff like this and potentially spending themselves into liquidation.

I had the box of 1-3 and sold it when it was going for like $200, regretting the decision almost immediately. With the new commentaries and inclusion of 4 I’m definitely gonna have to import this.

Woo Hoo!! Hellraiser literally just got bumped into my top 5 wish list after pre-ordering Exorcist and Rosemary's baby.

Jesus wept.

Well, on 84 Entertainment's 4K and Blu, it's literally just a VHS tape with horrible buzzing and some tracking issues. It'd be hard for Arrow to do worse!

That was 84 Entertainment, with Oliver Krekel apparently handling the encode.

I wonder if the original film will reinstate the longer, gorier Frank shot which was cut by the MPAA (yet somehow made it into Hellbound's recap unscathed). IIRC Turbine put it back into the film with Barker's permission when they did their Blu-ray. I watched Hellraiser on the big screen a couple of years ago and to my surprise, that shot was there.

Definitely in for this, but I wish they had thrown in the Clive Barker disc from the Scarlet Box as well.

Where are you guys planning to pick this up from? Does Arrow's UK store ship to the US or should I try for DiabolikDVD

Is there any rights-related issues or anything else that would keep this from getting a US release? That 10-23-2023 release date hurts deep down cause I know it would likely not show up before Halloween!

It looks like they've taken the documentaries from that disc (they're in the Bloodline extras now) but dropped the short films. Again, I have to wonder if these specs are incomplete. There's some strange omissions.
