Incompetent color grading is done by incompetent color graders not scans.

Just got this in. The Terror looks great, miles better than any other copy I’ve seen. Little Shop looks quite nice, and it’s great to see the long-missing end credits at last, but I personally prefer the 4:3 framing for that one and wish that it had been included as an option. I’ll be hanging on to my German import Blu of the Legend transfer for that reason. My one minor quibble is that part 2 of the Filmgroup documentary inexplicably gets a well-known fact wrong — Joyner says that A Bucket of Blood owes its existence to Little Shop, and was produced afterwards. Nope. It was made first, and Little Shop was the followup.

Also, Film Masters really needs to list BOTH titles of these double features on the bloody spines and the booklet covers. I know, they’re supposedly including the other film as a “bonus”, but c’mon, these “bonus” films still look just fine, way better than we’ve ever seen them before, plus they receive their own disc and extras and half of the booklet, so not listing the titles on the spines and booklets is just plain silly. That’s my only quibble with these most appreciated releases.

I'm late in posting my thoughts but yeah, I was generally pleased with how these looked, especially Little Shop of Horrors which looked a lot better (and grainier) than the screenshots on their own site suggested.
