Honestly, I've been looking for a copy of Last of the American Hoboes for years. I got excited when Grindhouse Releasing posted a trailer 2 years ago. It's just I don't know if I want to buy a whole box set just to get it.

This set is an intriguing curiosity to me. VS presentation sounds beautiful. 10 Lost movies …at least a few of them have to appeal to my interests, right?

I don't think there's really any erotic films in the set- at least, not hardcore. No doubt there will be some flesh flashed.

Maybe 5 or 6 discs? Two films per disc, plus one disc for the new documentary?

Watching Las Vegas Strangler aka No Tears For the Damned and it’s Christmas adjacent! (X-Mas decorations as they drive into Vegas) which I'm sure was stock footage.

Beware the Black Widow is also Christmas adjacent! Watching now and near the beginning we see some strip-teases with a soundtrack crooning of "I Want a Doll for Christmas"; 'doll' as in blonde or brunette

I highly recommend checking out the Against The Grain documentary that's included. A very good look at how VS and other labels save these movies from literally rotting away.

Good to know… will be watching this one before X-Mas

Las Vegas Strangler only has that one shot of Xmas decorations so its like 3 seconds at the most but sounds like Beware the Black Widow celebrates it

Regarding No Tears for the Damned / The Las Vegas Strangler - does anyone know whether this one is missing the final reel? It comes to a very abrupt conclusion (and only has 4 "reels" for the chapter selections, where the others so far have 5), and I'm not sure whether that's actually all there is, or if the film is missing its denouement.

I haven't watched this yet to verify but IMDB states the time as 85 minutes.

You should have a "display" button on your remote that tells you the run time on the disc.

Has anyone checked out VOODOO HEARTBEAT? What a title! I get the impression they used a spinner like the kind from old board games and it had words for titles on it. Maybe some of the other ones were CANNIBAL HEARTBEAT? STRANGLER HEARTBEAT? LITTER BUG HEARTBEAT?
