I'm really looking forward to disc 3. Larry Semon was amazing. The Sawmill has some incredible stunts. It's a wonder someone wasn't killed or injured with some of them.

I had the thrill of my life getting to volunteer with George Willeman in the LoC nitrate film vaults. It was dirty, stinky, and taught me so much about classic films. Those folks at the LoC are heroes. Truly. Can't wait to get this.

I ordered this when it was $14.99 and now have received an e-mail saying the delivery date has changed, and I'll be notified when there's a new date.

Anyone else get that from Amazon? This was supposed to be out in about 2 weeks, kind of odd....

More delays going back to the Mexico disc plant, I guess.
This isn’t the only release in the last 2 - 3 years that’s been impacted.

It was a price match to another retailer's misprice.

Target had pricing errors for a few Kino releases at the time. Another was Nostalghia 4K for $14.99 too.

I think you’re confusing Vitagraph with Warner’s Vitaphone sound on disc system. Vitagraph wasn’t connected with Warner.

"It was bought by Warner Bros. in 1925."

"On April 20, 1925, Smith finally gave up and sold the company to Warner Bros. for a comfortable profit. The Flatbush studio (renamed Vitaphone) was later used as an independent unit within Warner Bros., specializing in early sound shorts. Vitaphone closed the Flatbush plant in 1940."

Yes, sorry, I meant to go into that. I guess I was thinking at the time these were made there was no connection, but you've got a good point!

No problem, that's kinda how I roll with my collection, with maybe some exceptions, i.e. the July 1993 to August 2010 Miramax films remain counted my Disney collection even though they don't own that company anymore whilst the film's before that and some films after go to Paramount
