I honestly haven't seen Navy Seals in 30+ years, and my memory of it is hazy at best. I certainly don't remember it being great.

It's one time I wish a standard came out at the same time. Even with my sub discount at $32.49, it's pricey and I don't really need (or particularly want) the magnet box, etc. this time around.

With 10,000 printed, I doubt this one is going to sell out all that fast.

Oh it's not great at all but I collect 80s-ish action movies. In a world where I don't have an undiagnosed mental disorder sci-fi and 80s action are the only things I'm buying outside of absolute faves. So this is a must buy despite it being meeeeh.

Samesies. These VS editions are prohibitively expensive for me to import anyway, even for something that I love, not least because there's every chance that a local label might get their hands on it. But the film isn't great anyway, agreed, and wastes a lot of the talent involved IMO.

I agree with the film but did you find yourself watching it over and over like did in my youth. Just one of those films from that period that I never got bored watching even with the under utilised talent.

Of course, I'm referring to Tombstone, not Aliens.
I hope so, Tombstone is great, the Director's Cut.

I like Navy SEALS and have waited a long time for a decent transfer to replace my old dvd but $59 Cdn is steep...

I’m beginning to think they’ve upped these print runs to 10K so that people get impatient waiting for the regular editions and buy these instead. I like fancy packaging but not all the time.

Some have mentioned waiting for the regular edition of this, is this for sure getting one of those?

I think I'm good with the current release. It's a dumb fun movie, but I'm just surprised this film is getting this kind of release with so many possibilities. Great for fans of the film.

It should once the magnetic box sells out.

I agree with Katatonia…At 10k units, it’s gonna be a while.

Opening day I thought this was pure kick ass. Watching it again a few years ago I felt tortured trying to finish it, then give away binned it right after. I'll have to keep reminding myself of this as I get tempted to check it out again

I had plenty of movies on repeat when I was a kid, this wasn't one of them however.

Sadly this is my relationship with several 80's action movies I remember being impressed by as I have built my library. The genre has sort of been put on pause for me, but dang I am ready for some forgotten 80's bang-bang flick to grab me. Cautiously optimistic!
