I don't hear this one quoted as the best, ever. But it is certainly one of my favorites!

By actor:

Connery - Goldfinger
Lazenby - OHMSS (not much choice here lol)
Moore - For Your Eyes Only
Dalton - The Living Daylights
Brosnan - Tomorrow Never Dies
Craig - Skyfall

Separating into two threads was smart. Makes for less clutter. Well done.

Favorite Bond films by actor:

Connery -- Dr. No tied with From Russia With Love
Lazenby -- On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Moore -- For Your Eyes Only
Dalton -- The Living Daylights
Brosnan -- Tomorrow Never Dies

Zero tolerance for that other guy.

I got an AppleTV 4k a while back to try out the experience before returning it. One of the biggest temptations to keep it was the Bond remasters. I watched Goldeneye and it looked freaking amazing.

I just can't purchase streams though, for multiple reasons (one of them being possible censorship, which this series is very much at risk of).

...yeah not a big fan either- never fit the role and thought he was trying too hard, in my opinion.

So what do you think of Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the new role? I'm not 100% convinced (yet) but do like his films and am excited to see how he does.

I was hoping for Theo James. Henry Cavill may have worked too.

No truth to the rumors. It's just noise.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has not been cast.

There is no production in the works.

EON Productions is owned and operated by Barbara Broccoli
now. She's busy with other projects. Check the link in the
OP to see the other films and theatrical plays she's producing.
She had answered shouted question by reporters saying that
they "have to reinvent who he is." She said no to Christopher
Nolan. She said they have not started on another film. She
has pretty much washed 007 out of her hair. I don't think
there will be another Bond film. Not while this screwy family
still controls the property. And they're losing a measure of
control because the copyright on all the novels and character
will have expired by 2034 under the U.K.'s 70-year copyright
law. Casino Royale entered public domain last year, Live and
Let Die this year, Moonraker next year, etc. You might see
some low-budget remakes from independent companies
before you'll see another EON Bond.

That having been said, I agree Aaron Taylor-Johnson is a
very good actor but I don't see him as Bond. He'd make a
better Tarzan.

The good news is that Craig will never drag his knuckles
across the screen again as Bond.

I've never understood why The Living Daylights is that much loved compared to Licence To Kill.

Because it's much more a traditional Bond movie, complete with John Barry score, etc.

Because Licence to Kill is a gritty, mature entry in the series.

And anyone who says otherwise is a poohead!

Why does the moderator keep changing the logline?

I named this thread James Bond 007 on 4k UHD.

Can't we just leave it at that?

I'm sure this is true, though I will say they would deny it and say nothing is happening right up until the announcement either way. Their words don't really mean much.
