Fantastic locations, soundtrack, dialogue and just a great time. Razzie awards mean nothing to me. They got it badly wrong. Cocktail is one of the finest entertaining films of its time. I don’t see how anyone couldn’t enjoy it. One of my top 3 go to drinking films. It is tasty 80s juice!

There is even a cameo by Uncle Frank from Home Alone that is ironically requesting a free drink and being a cheap stake before he was one in Home Alone

I'll Give it a shot! It's always great to see someone really passionate about a movie that just clicked!

I have this version of the Last Samurai from Hong Kong which has Dolby True HD lossless and slightly better picture quality due to better compression.

About a month ago I downloaded a 5.1 rip of Interview with the Vampire hoping that the music would be on a different track than all the other voices and sound effects.

Obviously my intent here was to remove Guns 'n' Roses and replace it with The Rolling Stones.

Sadly, it was not meant to be. I love IWTV but I detest Guns 'n' Roses.

I only include the US editions (unless the film was only released in one country, in which case I have to include the existing edition).
I updated Born on the Fourth of July with the US version, thank you.

I think it's worth adding those Italian editions of THE FIRM and VANILLA SKY at the bottom, so people are aware of them.

They're not the same discs as the US discs, and the compression is MUCH, MUCH better.

I owned the US editions and rebought the Italian editions, and I know others did too.

The US discs of both titles are garbage, they look like upscaled Blu-Rays at best.

I haven't seen nearly all of Tom's films, but I do like both Top Gun entries and the Mission: Impossible series. My favorite that he's ever done though, is A Few Good Men.

Me too but I will add The Last Samurai though because it's pretty and has a great score and too dated master for all that.

I have the American and Italian 4ks of Vanilla Sky and can confirm the American looks like a crappy Blu Ray compared to the Italian, so happy I made that decision. Let's get some Cocktail going in 4k! Movie is so much fun!
