In that case I urge them to check the knee tap scene where it's more obvious than on the busy sight scenes. Another example is the sound preempting when Jet Li is jabbed with the sword during the Yeoh rescue. I'd love to keep the set but I will have to return for a refund as it'll never be watched again with these issues on both included discs. I'd rather watch the dvd.
Have you emailed 88 to ask?

I can see an order email on the site and I don't do social media so I was hoping one of the many people who questioned the issue here might've already enquired but my preference is to ask the great community here if they can corroborate the problem. To me it's very obvious the audio is milliseconds ahead throughout. One might overlook it if they weren't paying attention or put it down to shoddy dubbing but it's glaringly obvious if you compare it to other editions that accurately match sound and picture. I don't want to return the set if they acknowledge there's a problem and will send discs worldwide with proof of purchase

Just checked the scene. It is in sync on both my Panansonic and my Sony player. The UHD is also in sync on my Sony player.

The sync was off on mine on my Panasonic if I played it in Dolby Vision. Switching it to HDR seemed to fix it. Same for Arrow's new TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2.

How strange. We are talking milliseconds and ideally if anyone did a comparison with the dvd, that's when it becomes impossible to deny. I guess it must be a compatibility issue if people are having mixed experiences

Following up further, I tested the blu on a ps4 and the same issue with audio a little ahead of the picture. Compared dvd at 59:36 and the fault was clear. However I tried the uhd in a PS5 and it was almost perfect. So evidently the playback differs between players. But it'll have to go back as it's a lot of money for a disc that only plays reasonably accurately on one of five players.

This is the only disc I've come across that exhibited this behaviour. Furthermore it is happening on both blu ray and 4k editions so it's at the master level and independent of the authoring and codecs if they differ between formats.

Sure there have been releases where a scene has a sync issue (Second Sight's Changeling, for example) but looking at all the posts, people are not agreed. It was raised on 88Films Facebook 6 months ago but I didn't see any acknowledgment or response. Only Oppo players seem to work and I've got Sony and LG and they don't. Out by 250ms, once you watch the dvd and compare with either of these discs, it's glaringly apparent.
