Blu-ray discs are still between £20 and £30 here ($40-$60US) so I've only bought BD's for movies I don't already have. Maybe if the prices come down by half I'll start re-buying some of the better movies in my collection.

There are a few definites for when they come out though - Riddick and The Fast & The Furious will be bought a 2nd time, as will I Robot and Day After Tomorrow when they finally make it across the Atlantic.

Most of the DVDs that I'll be replacing on Blu-ray have not yet been released on Blu-ray.

I did buy Corpse Bride when it first came out in DVD, as a gift for a friend, then bought the BD for myself when that came out.

Other than that, the BDs I have are new to me on BD (unless I'm overlooking something). I will not be replacing many of my DVDs, simply because I'm not really that interested in seeing them again (sort of a "been there, done that" thing).

There are a lot of DVDs I'll be replacing once they come out in Blu-ray, and I hope they come out in excellent transfers!

Depending on the quality of the transfer (as in Shooter), movies such as Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator I'll definitely pick up on Blu, while flicks such as S.W.A.T. and Deuce Bigalow will be just fine upscaled on standard DVD.
