One of my favorite retro releases on the Switch was the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, including many of the top SNK games from 1979 through 1990. It was a shame the physical release was fairly limited.

I'd love to see them come out with some sort of collection of their best games from the 90's. They last did something like that back on the PS2/Wii with SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1, which was never followed it up with a Vol. 2. I wouldn't even care all that much if it's mainly just a port of the games, without much enhancement. Any compilation would do.
Their deal with Hamster may be preventing it. Almost every Neo Geo game is available through Arcade Archives.

And Arcade Archives just announced "ACA2 NEOGEO," which will see the Neo Geo catalog released on PS5 and X|S. Hard for Hamster to sell these games for $7.99 each if there's an in print collection with 20-40 Neo Geo games for $30 or whatever.

What I really wonder though is whether SVC Chaos will be included in the Capcom vs SNK Fighting Collection I'm convinced Capcom will release in 2026. I already own SVC Chaos on AES, so I'm not in a rush to get the game for Switch. If it's going to be included in the inevitable CVS collection, I'd rather not buy the game by itself on Switch.

Looks like Amazon has PS4 copies for affordable.
PS4 version is better because it has all the games on the disc, where the Switch version needs DLC to get all the games. It's free, but still bad because it requires the internet to get a full collection.
