The movie was perfect as it was, but it doesn't surprise me considering that they didn't care for the final product to begin with. If it's true, I hope they include both cuts.

A 4k bluray of Airplane!? What is it?

If this gets a UK release then it's an absolutely essential day 1 purchase for me.

If this is strictly a ZAZ Collection, I don't see them including Airplane II in this set. The Zucker Bros had nothing to do with the sequel.

Not sure where its pulling its info from exactly but CoPilot says the three films in the set will be Airplane!, Top Secret, and Naked Gun 1, just as you assumed.

If it does has Naked Gun then yay, as I've not gotten around to buying it yet (I love the movie but I'm not spunking that money on it just because it's only available in a steenbok).

They claim to have never watched it, either.

I re-watched 2 recently, and it does not hold up for me. It's one of those situations where you can feel someone trying to recreate the success of the first film, but it's missing the ZAZ touch, the spirit of Airplane! (which, of course, is all over Top Secret!). It's like Pat Boone covering a Little Richard or Fats Domino record, and misunderstanding, or being unable to recreate, what made the original so great.

I'm pretty sure I saw Airplane II before the original, and found it hilarious as a kid. I haven't watched either movie in a very long time though.

The original Airplane! holds up very well IMO. First saw it as a kid, and I still laugh like an idiot every time I watch this, and The Naked Gun.

it's a physical media disc with better sound and picture but that's not important right now....
