If anyone wanted a Letterboxd list of all the movies featured on this release. I compiled them here. If you don’t want to be spoiled on what’s on this release then maybe hold off.

"...a first-of-its-kind document of New York, as it appeared on film during the Fun City era."

Uh... thanks for the list, but why is Foul Play on here? It was shot in San Francisco.

And what part of New York was Escape From Alcatraz and Star Trek The Motion Picture (!) filmed in?

The "More from FCE" and "Not from FCE" are the "hidden" stuff on the discs. I denoted that in the notes.

LIFEGUARD (1976) isn't a New York film, but it is a Fun City Editions release.

I was expecting to see this up at more places other than Diabolik, who are out. Glad I was still able to place an order direct from Fun City.

Fun City posted on Facebook that they're running low on this and so I finally took the plunge. WOW, this thing is entertaining! All I want to do now is see (or rewatch) a bunch of these movies, particularly the ones I'd never heard of before (MOVE with Elliot Gould looks wild!).

Someone on the previous page remarked that they wish these trailers had been fully restored and color-corrected, but I disagree. I love the raw, blemished look of so many of these. It feels like you're hanging out with a film collector who's threading vintage reels through a projector.

Fun City Editions is a gift of a label. Love 'em!
