Thanks. I think I need to reverse the images. Maybe they're backwards. Are you merging them with just your eyes?

I shrunk them both down for easier merging, and tested them reversed too, but am still barely seeing any 3D effect. Maybe it's very mild 3D in these auto-conversion shots. I'm going to say these aren't official or just tests?

But I'm sure with Gunn in charge of the film and the 3D if this is in 3D in theaters, it'll be potentially great medium to strong 3D like GOTG1 and 2. Part 3 was good but more medium 3D layers most of the way.

You can see people receeding in the distance too. But it depends on the size of the image, and I made them small cus if I make them too large your eyes might pop out of your opposite ear when crossing them

It might help if you make them larger on the screen to the point you can bear it...


*sigh... if only all computer monitor/tv screens were made 3-D by now.

I made sure they were correct crossing you eyes. (where you get the 3-D one fused in the middle of the two semi transparent surrounding them (3 in total) when you cross the eyes. It's hard but some people can do it. It might help too if you use the forum's dark mode skin instead of the bright light blue one?

If you use another method you might have to swap left for right.

Looks 3D to me using cross-eyed method of viewing.

I have to say your image is L-R reversed for crosseyed viewing. If I cross my eyes with it, the hand is behind Tony, etc. to me.

I took it and swapped their l/r positions (also deanamorphisized it for its Scope ratio) and now the hand is in front of Tony to me if I cross my eyes on this one:

That is interesting and mysterious, thanks.
The one I posted, in merge view stereo 3D, but your reversed one reverses the 3D for me. I wonder how that's possible we're seeing two different results. I'm on a monitor. Maybe depending on the device or computer used. Not sure.

You're crossing your eyes on both? I wouldn't know how that'd be possible neither.

Maybe others can chime in.

I mean unless something else is happening, (but it shouldn't as both images are on screen on the same post), using Sherlock's, is that, either one of us processes crosseyed 3D images differently from each other in the brain?

But if you see 3D in real life and I see 3D in real life (not crosseyed images) normal, then the hand should be in front of the head in the same one, and the hand be behind with the head looking forward of it, in the other same one.

Which one has cup in front of Superman, and crowd receding behind Superman, which is flat, and which has the opposite, kind of the cup and superman receding into the crowd surrounding them.

Which one has the 3 containers (or colums) in front and above, Superman in the middle with cape flying, and the detritus flying around in the background, which is flat, and which one has Superman in the middle kind of surrounded by the detritus flying and the 3 columns behind him.

Cool, thank you! I just saw this post now, sorry for the delay. The one on the bottom of the three Superman images works finally for me. The top two, hardly any effect, but that bottom one looks like decent 3D potentially.

That helped me see it now, thanks! Cool other images too, although I'll try to back away from the screen further to see them better.

The advertising has always mentioned "Filmed for IMAX" since the first trailer, so a worldwide IMAX 3D release was always imminent.
