TMDB just updated with the information that there will be a 3D release. This site is VERY reliable, it usually updates the information of a movie after its trailer, this happened with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Venom The Last Dance.

I wonder if we will see Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 Gunn... or Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 Gunn.

I guess 'IMAX' scenes are on the table in the unlikely event of a disc.

This is great news! Here's hoping that it is accurate and that WB ushers in the new Gunn era with going back to releases 3D blu-rays or at least licensing them. #excited (even though I didn't think I would be given the DC doldrums as of late)

Just like with James Gunn's previous films we're guaranteed to get the IMAX version of this film on Blu-Ray & Blu-Ray 4K with the IMAX aspect ratio, just like those two films Superman was entirely filmed with digital IMAX cameras. As for the 3D version it really is a shame we won't be getting that one on Blu-Ray 3D when Warner under David Zaslav now refuses to release any of their current 3D films.

Superman now has 1 stereoscopic credit from DNEG on Imdb.

Since James Gunn is directing, hopefully we’ll get Guardians of the Galaxy quality 3D here.

I'm not hoping for better 3D than GotG Vol 3....except for the scene at 1:23 in this trailer. That has "3D wow moment" written all over it.

I'll bet on another quality James Gunn 3D conversion. Evan as fatigued as I am of this genre, Superman looks great.

It's really cool to see that TMDB has the correct information, and it seems that this information comes directly from the distributors. They've already got the release dates for Aquaman 2(It looks like it was the real d's page the fist one), Venom 3, and Superman right before everyone else.

To me Superman is well in front of the mob with the cup right on the side of his head a bit behind.
