My PS3 is a BD player first, and a game console second. I have over 50 BD titles and only 1 PS3 game. I think you'll be fine with trading it in.

I have a BDP-S301 and I will not trade it for a ps3 I play my games on my computer and I could care less about pip or any of the other extras I buy BD for the movie not the extras and nothing is Future Proof

Stick with what you have. Your standalone looks better physically, might have a better remote, and has superior audio options. Do you really care about online extras?

Well, I would like the fact of gaming on the PS3 as well. Plus I heard the load times are faster on PS3.
