The only info I could find regarding an "unrated" cut is this post on imdb.

I checked my German BD and I literally could not tell based on that description if it's the theatrical or unrated version. Then I looked at the scene on the US disc and sure enough that one is different, and it's the R rated cut (as described). So German BD is uncut, US BD is R rated.

As for the UHD, looking at the scan available at caps, it's 11 seconds shorter than my German BD, so it probably is the R rated cut. But the difference between the two versions is so small that it's kind of irrelevant.

So the German BD and German UHD were released practically at the same time but the BD is uncut while the UHD might be the R-rated cut?

I mean, it's not unheard of for the UHD to use the theatrical cut while the BD has an unrated version.

The person who made that post on imdb claims the iTunes version is also unrated, and if you follow their link you can see it's only available in HD. The US iTunes page has it in 4K but clearly states R rated.

So Unrated only in 1080p, R rated available in 4K.

Good to know. Bummer but at least the included BD is unrated.

Are you sure? There are posts in the thread for the Koch 4K stating they confirmed it's the unrated cut.

I don't have the 4K, so I don't know, I'm just speculating. All I can tell you is that the German BD runs for 1:57:14, while the 4K is 1:57:03.

The person that responded, MassiveMovieBuff, has it. They could check the scene at 1:28:00 and see if there are any differences between the BD and 4K. The easiest way to tell is when Jena Malone kisses the corpse, on the R rated cut the framing cuts just above the genital area, while on the unrated it shows quite a bit more.

Edit: This shot, which is from the R rated cut (spoiler for NSFW):

I have the Koch 4K and I've checked, it's the unrated cut. The 11 seconds of difference is due to the German dubbing credits not being on the 4K but they are on the BD.
