The game will have online co-op, so enjoy.

Oddly, I'm still not hearing a lot of 'hype' or build up review/articles for this title even with it's eminent release this week.

Makes me a tad nervous; however, several of my friends are planning the 'blind buy' so I'll probably get it on release anyway. Still though... hmmm....

Just very odd for a game from such a large distributor to not be getting pumped like hell right before release.

I don't get it yet. If I have my friend come over to my house do I need two ps3s and two internet connections, and two tvs. (too expensive)

Can I play the game two player using one of everything? split screen or one camera/One Tv/One ps3/one game?

You know to make it simpler u know how in fighting games you can have two players without using the internet?

Ign said it has two players but it doesn't specify HOW. They need to be specific!

How does that work? you share the same camera?
doesn't it conflict being on the same screen?

i thought it was odd how Motorstorm had no 2 player gameplay, only online multiplayer. I need 2p games.

No, you don't need all that. All you'll need is Army of Two, One PS3, & two controllers.

Army of Two as Co-op offline by Split Screen and also has Co-op online.

To me this game has huge potential....but very little chance of reaching that full potential. Ill wait for reviews.

Here's a review I've found for this game. They gave it 8 out of 10

http://www.gamedaily.com/games/army-...iew/5328/1966/

For those you who can't click on the link. Here's some highlights.

Gameplay
Quote:
General gameplay consists of running and gunning, and occasionally using your smarts to get out alive. The artificial intelligence is perfectly balanced, although some rookie gamers might find the opposition hard to overcome. The general controls are great, with excellent gun functions and a simple partner instructing system mapped to the D-pad. You can have them hold position, thrust ahead and do a couple of other functions, even though you never take direct control of them. The use of a sweet GPS system comes in handy as well, particularly when you're lost and need directions to get back on track.
Graphics
Quote:
Visually, Army of Two scores with outstanding details. The soldiers look very intimidating with their custom mercenary gear (we love those skull helmets) and plenty of slick moves, such as the cover slide. The levels are great, varying in locale and providing lots of cover points and stuff to blow up. You'll love taking a ride on the aircraft carrier, with waves so realistic you may actually feel seasick. The display darkens a little bit quickly if you take too much damage, but it gives you this creepy feeling that you're seriously about to die, unless your partner can pull you out of harm's way. Overall, this is a marvelous looking game.
Audio
Quote:
Then there's audio, which is in a league by itself. The music is decent, consisting of battle themes that are nowhere near as irritating as the rock tune in the recent TV ad. However, the voice work really shines, aggressive and humorous at the same time. These guys aren't afraid to throw profanity into the mix to express emotion, but they do so in a way that's refreshing and not a cliche taken straight out of a movie. The sound effects are on the money, too, especially when it comes to the heavier firepower. The roar of the chain gun will put a smile on your face.

I can't find any stores that expect it today.

Even gamestop is saying it's 'back ordered'.

Looks like they didn't meet their ship date (which seems to be common anymore).

Post if you find it and try it out.

This game's doing great so far, with no critics giving it anything less than a B. The delay was well-justified.

To clear up, yes, this game has online AND offline co-op, as well as 2-player competitive online via splitscreen (2 ppl on one system vs. two others).

All I care about is co-op. Im tired of the usual FPS multiplayer modes. I want real teamwork.

Default Army of Two purchase...

Just kind of wondering what everyone thinks of Army Of Two coming out on PS3 tomorrow (the 6th)... I pre-ordered it today cause I've seen some trailers and think it looks like an amazing game... So what do you guys think of it?

Reviews coming in...

They all seem to be hovering around the 8/10 zone. Not bad for an EA title that's multiplat.

I'm gonna grab it today... If I can find it.
