Oftentimes, when a movie shares a title with the name of one of the movie's characters, that character gets a lot of screen time. But there are a few exceptions to this rule.
Here are a few movies where the title character got very little screen time: "The Bride Of Frankenstein" (1935)-She's only on screen for about a minute. And she doesn't really say or do anything, she just screams once. "The Wizard Of Oz" (1939)-We don't see this so-called wizard until the last few minutes. And all he does is give Dorothy, The Tin Man, The Scarecrow and The Cowardly Lion pseudo-awards and tell them they already had the character qualities they believed they lacked. Then he took off in a hot air balloon. It was Glinda who helped Dorothy get back home in the end. What about you? What movie title characters got too little screen time, in your opinion? Please let me know. Have a great weekend. |
